On one side of the Canvas Mini Star shapes paint in Avocado Dip and then the other
in Hauser light green. That will give a little definition in the grass with the
two colors. Once dry, use the decopage on the Avocado Dip side and the SoSoft
Fine glitter on the Hauser light green side. It will help it not be a matte color.
This is the “before” star and then the after, who would’ve
thought that a star can also become grass! When the paint is dry, fold
the star in half and glue it in place and then attach it to the bottom
of the burlap tag. After I attached the grass, I painted
freehand the letters using Bahama Blue, you can also stencils,
use die-cut letters, stickers, whatever you would like.
I have included pictures of every letter so you can see the different
designs on each a little better. Each one has a unique personality.
To make the posies, punch out 2 different sizes of circles. Each posie
has either 3 or 6 layers of circles. I punched a hole in the middle
to put the brad through and then bent the edges of the petals.
Under the grass is a little ruffle ribbon with a baker’s twine tied
around it for a sweet look.

I hope you enjoyed this project!
