We had an amazing time with the Editors and Creative minds behind some of the Better Homes and Gardens magazines. They are truly a piece of Americana, they are over 100 years old and of course a household name.

We met with the Editors and Creative Team of the American Patchwork Quilting and Quilts and More magazines. We were able to give them a glimpse inside our Canvas Corp creative minds on how we use our products. Meredith was our gracious hostess for the day and helped make it all possible.
The Better Homes & Gardens Corporate offices are located in Des Moines, Iowa. We packed up our projects and headed north to visit this lovely city. This picture was taken from the Test Gardens where they test out different plants and products for the magazine.
We were lucky to have a delicious lunch made from the BH&G kitchens. In this picture {from left: Sonya, Jennifer Keltner {Exec. Editor}, and Jill Abeloe Mead {Editor of American Patchwork & Quilting}.
They just recently completed their Crafts Lab room full of amazing products and tools. I just loved this vinyl definition of “Create” that they applied to the window.

Meredith was so generous and took the four of us on an exclusive tour of the BH&G campus. This place was busy at every turn, I just couldn’t take enough pictures.
They were nice to let me take a picture of this photo shoot of ideas for their website. I love to see the behind-the-scenes of how they make everything look perfect!
