Product Matchup: Pion Design

On our most recent trip to CHA, we had the pleasure of being booth neighbors with Pion Design. We had never heard of Pion design, as it was their first time to show in the US, but we quickly made friends with this family-owned company from Sweden.

As is usual at CHA, we tore down our booth in a hurry. In the frenzy, we managed to trade product with Pion Design, as it’s always fun to see how other brands mix and match with ours. Annica, a designer for Pion, was so sweet to send us her altered stitched book.

For the base of the book, Annica used our 6×6 canvas stitched book.  It’s a handstitched book that contains 4 pages of canvas, bound together with a kraft spine. She adorned the cover with soft, feminine flowers and even added a 7Gypsies “Paris” charm.

We love how the delicate designs from Pion correspond with the natural feel of canvas.

We absolutely love how it turned out, and it’s the perfect decorative element for Valentine’s day!
