Hey there Paper Peeps! Ginny here and I’m sharing a project that is near and dear to my heart. Every year my little family takes a trip to the beach to reconnect and play and soak up the sun. Getting to spend lots of time with my kids is a real treasure…..they grow up too fast and I’m hanging on to every moment I can. This nautical mini will be a family heirloom filled with pics of our trip.
For reals do you not love these colors???? So bright and festive : ) I clipped out many of the images from the printed papers and layered them up. The base for the book is actually the Ivory Greeting Cards with Burlap stitched on. All I did was seal up the cards and added all the paper pretties.
I always like to have room for a nice big picture in my mini albums…so on the back of the cards….I finished them with a combo of the nautical patterns and accented them with a coral strip.
Every set of pages has a different…but similar arrangement….to keep a consistent look. I really love the texture and detail from the burlap and stitching…and I didn’t have to do any extra work..they were already ready already!
When I start loading this mini up with our family pics…I may even add some between the pages easily by adding patterned papers to the backs and punching holes so they can be added on the rings.
I finished the rings simply by adding coordinating ribbon trim. There’s also a little Dark Blue Rope to dress up the corners of the images. This Optical Lens charm reminded me of a nautical porthole so I used it to frame that sweet little craby guy 🙂
List of Supplies for Nautical Coral Mini Album:
Sails & Shells Stripe on Ivory
Navy & Ivory Anchor Reverse
Greeting Cards Ivory with Burlap
Okay that’s all for me…wishing you all a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : ) G
