Day 2 of our Blog Hop with TOMBOW and I wanted to try the adhesives with cardmaking…
I used the MONO Multi Liquid Glue to attach everything except for the sailboat I used Power Tabs.
I am in love with the new Canvas Corp paper colors of Navy, Coral & Tan!!
The majority of the time when you see anchors…you have to make a sailboat, right? I cut a Canvas Corp Mini Round Shape in half to create the boat. I tried out the MONO glue on the ribbon of the boat and it dried clear. I took a little strip of Canvas Corp C-flute and turned it on the back side to write “bon voyage” on it.
One of my favorite styles of cards to make is a 6″x6″ that has a gate opening in the front. I cut the Canvas Corp anchor paper 6″x12″ and then brought the two ends to meet and the middle and then made the creases on both sides. You can tie a ribbon around it to keep it closed…
You can never go wrong with making a tag…right? This tag is 3″x6″ and I used the new Tan & Ivory diamond paper for the base. I used Canvas Corp twine and cut several strands for the top piece. Then I just went with the flow on the sizes of the papers and roughed up the edges. I used 7Gypsies tape and letters to add to the overall design.
This was another place that I cut Canvas Corp mini burlap round shape and half to have it peeking out from behind the papers.
This is another 6″x6″, just folded in half. I wanted to test the strength of the Tombow MONO multi liquid pen on holding the C-flute, corrugated piece and it worked perfect. On this card, I wanted all of the elements a little off, not exactly in the middle of each piece. I also used my sharpie pen and wrote “love” on the bottom of a Canvas Corp Mini Canvas square shape…so easy! I spray all of the paper pieces with Tattered Angels Abominable Snowman Glimmer Mist to give it a little sparkle. The Canvas Corp cording add just a nice element to finish off the card!
I used a ink pad to add some dimension to the c-flute part after I roughed it a little!
