If you are wondering what Abandoned Treasures byShannonGreen are, you are about to find out! But first we have to share a little about Shannon herself and our excitement to have her with us here at Canvas Corp Brands.
We first met Shannon through the Crew as she made the leap to join a design team after avoiding them for some time and we are so glad she did. With a Crew as large as ours, we do not get to meet all the designers face to face (but hopefully one day that will not be the case), but in this instance we had the opportunity to head to Houston for the NAMTA trade show and on the suggestion of another Crew member we were urged to see if Shannon was available to meet with us at the booth so we contacted her. We were so excited to not only have the opportunity to meet up with Shannon at the show, but she offered to help with setup, show days and tear down, so she had us at HELLO. We had the opportunity to work together at the show, brainstorm and think about what might be next for CCB. One of the main areas of opportunity was organizing a lead committee for our Crew and Shannon jumped at the opportunity to help lead the way and to coordinate other Crew members who were willing to step up and take a leadership role. One thing has lead to another and Shannon and her family decide to make a change, move to NW Arkansas and we are so excited to have her here at the CCB offices.
Shannon spends her days taking care of her YouTube Channel, our Crew, and when she is not inspiring us, she disappears into the warehouse looking for Abandoned Treasures. One thing you might not know about us is we don’t throw anything away except yesterday’s lunch. We hang on to pieces of paper, scraps of fabric, misprinted tags, old packaging and slightly damaged goods in hopes that they will find a creative home where they will be well cared for. Shannon has felt like a kid in a candy store finding these treasures and putting together goody boxes and sets that she hand curates. Each set of treasures are all the same and she makes as many of them as she can, but when they are gone, they are gone. Shannon works hard to make sure each set offers an amazing value and is useful too.
You will find the treasures on our Shop – Abandoned Treasures where each week she will release at least one set of goodies. We never know how many of each she will uncover so if you like what you find, we suggest you grab them fast as they are flying off the pallet almost as quickly they go live in the shop. Shannon is so creative, she even shows us how to Glimmer Mist the base and it looks so cool. Shannon misted a variety of colors and then set with a heat gun and wow the results are stunning!
