Easy Creepy Crawly Table Runner

I’m here today to tell you that I’m so excited to share how amazing the Canvas Corp burlap table runners are! I can’t believe the quality of them, they are so amazing that I was hesitant to painting them. I had to force my self to do it but I’m so happy I did because they take on paint so nicely!

I’m so happy with my finished table runner; it’s one of a kind… As you can probably tell, I’m so excited to share how fun it is to make my very own super creepy crawly table runner that gives you the creepy crawly felling. Well good then… that’s what Halloween is all about! The creepy spooky feeling!

Oh, remember to just have fun and make it uniquely yours!

You will need:
Canvas Corp black burlap table runner
Tattered Angels Décor& DIY crystal paint
stencils from FabLab and DecoArt

First I covered the table with some butcher paper and taped it down – you might want to do the same as the paint will go through the burlap. And if you’re involved your kids… the paint will probably go everywhere!
Once the work area was prepared for all the mess, I rolled out my burlap table runner and grabed some stencils, paint and paint brush and randomly stencilled various designs all over my table runner.

Next, I took some paint on my dabber brush and tapped along the outter edge of the table runner creating a lighter spiderweb-like shade.

So simple and easy! And guess what… no mistakes because no matter what you do, it’s going to be super spooky fun!

You should have your kids join you and play with the paints and making their own Halloween designs on the table runner – how much fun would that be!!!
