3. You are going to get a sneak peak at the amazing design work of of our amazing crew of designers, The Canvas Corp Brands Creative Crew.
We have assembled an amazing group of incredibly talented individuals to create the Canvas Corp Brands Creative Crew. We will be officially announcing the Crew on February 14th, but we could not wait to show off these great Valentine’s Cards and hope we inspire you to create a handmade card and give it to someone who is not expecting it.
We challenge you to create a “Valentine” card, photograph it, share it with us and then send it off to someone who isn’t expecting a card from you—an old friend, the clerk at the grocery store, your favorite barista, etc. We realize that Valentine’s Day may not be celebrated the same way across the world, but what better excuse to send well wishes to someone who is not expecting it and make their day.
We could only feature just a few, so we choose some unique in style and design to show the diversity a Valentine Card can have. We are also excited to feature some of our team who are from places around the world that don’t even celebrate Valentine’s Day, but wanted to share a little love of their own. You can link to each of their blogs to get to know them more. Featured below are cards from our team and their blogs, each card is just amazing and their blogs let you know the details. Enjoy.
This first card comes all the way from Togliatty from Elena Lishchenko. She used a mixture of Tattered Angels mists and High Impact paints to create her mixed media valentine. Who says that Valentine cards have to be traditional colors, not us. Create one that fits the person you are giving it to or one that represents your style. Mixed Media is hot right now and this amazing Valentine shows off some very cool mixed media techniques and it is coming all the way from India by Ujjwal Goel. Using our new Paris Hearts paper with a healthy amount of Tattered Angels to achieve the look in this dreamy card. Ujjwal is giving her card to someone who reads her blog, what a great surprise. Just about any pretty paper line is a contender for a Valentine Card and we are so excited that Kathy Clement choose our new 7Gypsies line, Gypsy Moments. This vintage inspired card will make a friend’s day. We love the technique of stitching layers of paper, fabric and specialty papers together. Visit her blog for more.
This card had us swooning for many reasons. We love the traditional use of colors in such a non-traditional design. splatters, stitches, layers oh my. We love that you can mix and match our papers to create your own color palette. All the way from Russia visit her blog for more details on her surprise card.
Kudos to Peggy Baker for this meticulous beauty where kraft paper is the star of this Love and Wishes Card. The matching envelope is such a nice touch. We know the person on the other end of this card will swoon.
And now for even MORE FUN! Our Creative Crew has created their cards, each with a special story.

SWOON!!! What an outstanding group of designers and Valentine’s cards!!! I’m head-over-heels in LOVE with all of them!!! I pinned many of them to my pinterest board titled “Valentine’s Day” and a few I wanted to pin but wasn’t able to because there was pin link for a few of them. But I got LOTS of great inspiration for my Valentine’s and I especially adore that many of them are mixed media, which is my most favorite type of art!!
