Layout “2016 Christmas Photo”

Every year since my son was born in 2004, we have had a Christmas photo shoot. When he was little, and later when our little missy came, we had one issue (the sitting still issue…), nowadays we struggle with smiles. Still, these moments and the final pictures are really precious to me.  Making a layout with the picture has also become a tradition for me.

I used the following products from the kit:

• Canvas Corp Printed Cardstock Papers 12″x12″ – Grey & Ivory Mini Dot, Farmhouse Christmas Stripe, Farmhouse Christmas Tags, Black & Ivory Chicken Wire, Sketched Trees and Sketched Snowflakes.
• Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists – Abominable Snowman & Pearl
• Reindeer Tag

Patterned papers were ripped and mounted to white cardstock. I layered tags that were cut out from the Farmhouse Tags & Farmhouse Stripes papers.

Aren’t the skates sweet? They were also cut out from one of the patterned papers.

Sprucing up your parcels with a nice tag is always a good idea. Nowadays, I have more and more shifted to making tags instead of Christmas Cards. I find the small format really great to work on, and again – they are SO great to put on a gift.

These tags was really fun & simple to make. I cut the patterned papers to size, cut out the pieces I wanted to use as embellishment from another patterned paper and layered them with 3D Squares on the tags.  The Garden stakes & splatters of mist makes that little extra.
