Peculiar Pictures “Let’s Visit the Cinema” Challenge

Crew Member, Chris Pozzi, has recently watched ‘Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children’ and was inspired by all those odd photos and old eerie movies and decided to try to recreate them. This is what she came up with.

This is what you will need from Canvas Corp Brands to create something similar to what Chris did:

Canvas Corp Brands Thickstock – Black
Canvas Corp Brands – 12 x 12 Cardboard
7 Gypsies – American Vintage : Vintage Photos
7 Gypsies – Wicked Gyspy : A Haunted Abode
Tattered Angels – Glimmer Mist – Iridescent Gold
7 Gypsies – Achitextures – Parchment Rub-ons – Grow
7 Gypsies – Achitextures – Stash Paque – Enjoy
7 Gypsies – Achitextures – 8×8 paper pad

Step 1

Die cut filmstrip and picture wheels from CCB Black Thickstock. (I love how thick the thickstock paper is!). Adhere 7 Gypsies – Wicked Gyspy : A Haunted Abode to Canvas Corp Brands – 12 x 12 Cardboard. Cut Doors from 7 Gypsies – Achitextures – 8 x8 paper pad.

Step 2

Add butterfly wings Parchment rub-on to Vintage photo. Add paper doll and add to film strip. Add “altered” paper dolls to Vintage Photo and add to Filmstrip. Cut Butterfly from Stash Paque and add to paper doll.

Step 3

Layer doors, picture wheel and altered paper dolls over background. Adhere. Add Title with letters from Stash Paque. Once dry mist project with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist- Iridescent Gold.
