Jenny says ‘Heehee! This was fun! I wanted to use the plinth Architexture but I didn’t have a clue,
so I googled it and saw a picture of one used for flowers. So I created a garden!’

‘I didn’t really like how this layout turned out, but every time I went to change it, I thought, “No, leave it alone. It’s just as it should be.” The book pages I used are from Jane Eyre and the little girl is Jane as a child herself. I set her with empty picture frames – I love empty frames and actually have several hanging in my studio (bedroom.) Empty frames leave room for both the past and the future instead of sticking with one moment in time. They are never actually empty. ‘

‘I’m trying to grow as an artist, which often times means that I have to leave my comfort zone.

I pushed myself to take part in this project, even though I have never worked in an art journal.

I love exploring new techniques, new ideas, and sharing more meaningful art.

‘I love to cook and I consider it another expression of my creativity. Taking a bunch of ingredients and making something that others can enjoy is so much fun to me. I know, maybe that makes me a bit weird, but that’s okay.

So I thought I would share a favorite main dish that ANYONE can make and is really easy. I also included extra recipe cards for anyone else who would like to share a favorite dish. ‘
