If you are a scrapbooking expert, you probably already have quite a few tricks and tips up your sleeve that you use when creating your scrapbook pages. But for those who need a few tips to add to their arsenal, here are 4 great ones Canvas Corp found to get you started.

1. Want to make that background pop? Just cut a piece of patterned paper into a large curved shape using a bowl, plate and anything round, then attach it to the cardstock.

2. For a pretty scrapbook page accent, lace a strip of ribbon through punched holes along one side of the border.

3. You can also wrap ribbon around your focal point photo to add emphasis and create a sweet visual touch.

4.  If you want the stitched look but don’t know how to sew, use rub-on stitches.
