7gypsies Release – American Vintage

Inspired by our travels and the travels we want to take, American Vintage captures a little heart and a little soul of the Americas. Our gypsy journeys take us by road, by sea, by rail and by air to the many places of this great nation. If by air, we might miss some magic along the journey but arrive quickly to magical places. If by road, we can take our gypsy time and explore the nooks and crannies off the USA.

This 2 page layout created by Erin Reed embraces the feel of the new collection so well. Erin’s mixed media layout is a perfect way to show off her photos and bring to life our new American Vintage Papers, Cards, Charms and more.

This collection embodies the fabrics, signs, art, states, license plates and history that we have all grown to know and love whether by experience or through old pictures, stories and memory books.  Designed to be the backdrop for vacation scrapbook layouts, fill the pages of a travel journals, be a part of USA themed DIY projects or to fill one of our crates with photos, file folders, notes, postcards, journal pages, gypsy moments cards that let us remember not only the photos, but the moments of the trip.

12×12 2 sided papers:  there are 6 different papers, each printed in the USA and on cardstock weight paper.

American Stamps 12×12 Paper 19550 – Stamp Art collected from the archives some of them feature presidents, others states and still others famous times and places.  Chop up this paper to create a multitude of stamp ephemera.

State Plates 12×12 Paper  19551 – vintage plates from across the USA fill the front paper and letters and numbers with fonts and colors of vintage license plates fill the back a-z and 0-9.  Highlight state you live or cut out the states you have visited for a vintage DIY project.

Wish You Were Here 12×12 Paper 19552 – Vintage inspired postcards that take you to places you will recognize across the USA with vintage backs for each that depict postcards of the past.  They measure 4×6 and can be cut up and used as postcards, invitations, journal pages or ephemera.

Across the USA 12×12 Paper 19553 – the front is filled with travel, explore, vacation and inspirational words that can be cut to form phrases, sayings or to highlight photos.  Included are special cities, landmarks and fun words to say great things.  The back is a vintage map that includes the Americans including a bit of Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Road Atlas 12×12 Paper 19554 – vintage atlases found or created featuring states or regions of the USA with clever travel and destination art.  The back features famous street signs we have visited or placed on our bucket list from Rodeo Drive to Bourbon Street or from Broadway to the Las Vegas Strip.

Go & See 12×12 Paper 19555 – Vintage fabric form the background of this paper with kitschy stagings and beautiful vintage photos.  The back features a bit more modern and yet eclectic map of the USA surrounded by vintage fabric pieces.

American Vintage 8×8 Paper Pad 19556 – 48 pages of our American Vintage Papers scaled down to 8″x8″ size, this was about as small as we can go with some of the words and sayings.  The paper for our pads is printed two sided on a nice quality text weight paper, giving you the option of a lighter weight paper when it will work better.  There are 6 two sided designs 8 each.

We offer a range of coordinating paper and ephemera with this collection.  The black and white photos are one of our favorite items, you can tint them with ink,mist, watercolor, pastels, etc. to create your own tinted photos.

Gypsy Moment Cards are perfect for daily journal posts, to capture life’s moments or just for fun.  The collection of Gypsy Moments Cards are a great way to take notes during a journey, jot down funny quotes during the trip or to highlight states on the journey.  Sheila shows us how it is done with her words, doodles and memories of her travels.

Denim is hot this year and our Dungaree Journals are made to look like your favorite blue jeans.  The golden stitching is the perfect detail to make them feel authentic.  Each book comes with 10 clear page protectors and 2 rings, so additional pages can be added.  The books are available in 3 different sizes.

Gloria’s journal shows off how easy it is to fill.  You can add Gypsy Moments Cards, Postcards, additional Page Refills or cut the papers to create additional papers.

The American Vintage Collections fits perfectly into our favorite surface this year, our Vintage Photo Crate, perfectly suited to hold all that is 4×6 side to side and vertically you can go as high as you desire.

Kathy has filled her crate to the gills and the variety of papers, ephemera and details look amazing together.  You will want to take your Gypsy Moments Cards along for the trip and create your crate when you have printed your photos, gathered your tickets and goodies from the trip.  Put them all together and what a great way to look back at the adventure.
