We love seeing our Crew put their amazing talent to work, especially when it comes to re-purposing items! Whether its taking something old and unused, or finding an inexpensive item with potential, re-purposing can be done to almost anything! Donna shows us here how she took a $3 Target chalkboard house and made it into a little Halloween piece using the Wicked Gypsies papers from 7gypsies
Donna did such a wonderful job adding all the little details to this haunted house. The little window shutters, paper coffin, and scary witch peeking through the window really give this piece a lot of character. What a fun Halloween decor piece to set out every year! Please read on as Donna gives us the step by step process.
Halloween is upon us and things are getting spooky. Watch out for the spooks and haunted houses. I came upon a Wicked Gypsy haunted house in the woods of Colorado one eerie eve. As I peeked into the windows I could see a black cat and a witch that almost saw me! That’s when I ran!!!! This was made from a $3 house from Target that was made for chalk.

Step 3
Cut tissue paper to size. Add a figure or object in the window by cutting out and adhering to window first then add tissue over the top.
Step 4
Adhere your traced papers to the house
Start cutting items from the Wicked Gypsy ephemera pack and add them to the house. Add a strip of paper across the middle of the house. Distress it as desired.
Step 6
Put together paper coffin and adhere 7 gypsies Wicked Gypsy on top. Add a hitch and any other embellishments you choose, and enjoy! Happy Haunting!
So much creativity packed into one little $3 Target bargain! This house would look perfect on a shelf, a mantel, next to your candy bowl, or surrounded by Jack-O-Lantern pumpkins!
