Black and White Christmas cards can look traditional and very nostalgic; it is a great way to also add some of your old family photos to your Christmas Cards giving the recipient a nice keepsake. I am Monica Taylor and this year, I had to make quite a few cards so … let me share with you my process.
Materials used to make the cards:
Canvas Corp Black and White Paper Collection
Canvas Corp Farmhouse Christmas on Ivory Paper
Canvas Corp Farmhouse Christmas Stripe on Ivory Paper
Canvas Corp Printd Cardstock – Black on White Paper
Tim Holtz Paper Dolls and Metalic Christmas stickers
Black and white washi tape
White Cardstock
Scissors, Paper Trimmer, Adhesive
Cut out all your paper and images including the base of your cards to create an assembly line.
Cut your images to fit the base of your cards. Add some black and white washi tape for added interest.
If you have several cards to create, complete the base on all the card before you start adding your embellishments.
Add black and white paper dolls. To give dimension, you can also use foam tape.
For added fun, use some old black and white family photos.
Add metallic sticker sentiments as final touches.
These no-stamp black and white cards are festive and nostalgic.
This is an easy way to create several holiday cards for the Christmas Season.
