We seem to find ourselves at the beach, by the shore or at sea even if it is just in our minds. This love of all that is nautical drives us to create new seafaring and beach combing lines. Each of the collections has a very different point of view, one captures the natural beauty of the sea, shore and home decor where burlap, black and white are front and center, Sand & Sea. The other offers a fresh approach to traditional nautical. While they each stand firm on their own, we love that they can be combined together or look terrific when paired with our Beach Collection and the the 7gypsies Maritime Line. We are pretty sure there are few rules when it comes to the beauty of the sea and bringing this to life in your creations brings the water even closer.
SAND & SEA
The first collection Sand & Sea begins with vintage nautical art printed with white ink onto our recycled kraft paper, giving it a rich, handmade look. The papers are beautiful as they are you can add touches of color both natural or nautical to make them your own. They are perfect partners with our basics white & kraft prints and our black & kraft prints. This collection is ever so perfect for home decor projects, invitations or DIY wedding projects for that destination wedding to the beach.

Can we talk about our newest, greatest, most fun item this year…..our mix ‘n match pads. These perfect paper pads (oh we think they are simply perfectly unperfect) are filled with 16 different pages of coordinating printed and solid papers, burlap, canvas, printed canvas and fluted paper. Each piece measures approximately 12×12 and is sewn into the label at the top so you can see each paper as you flip through. Our Sand & Sea pad brings together neutrals and soft blues to keep it natural. You will find our newest papers along with our favorites come together to create this pad. Our Mix ‘n Match Pads come with a coordinating piece of printed canvas, but we also sell printed canvas in 13×17 in panels. For nautical is it beautiful art in black ink. Each of the Mix ‘n Match Pads offer a unique 12×12 version of similar art. You add color with our High Impact Paints, tint them with our Mists, cut them and appliqué them onto your projects, sew the fabric onto canvas blanks such as totes or aprons….so many ideas.
If you want to make your own printed fabric on a smaller scale it is simple: 1 piece of canvas + 1 7gypsies stamp set + you choice in pigment or fabric ink = custom printed fabric designs.
