I created this layout one morning when I was bored, but wasn’t sure what I wanted to get into.
I decided to get messy and play with my Tattered Angels mist and some stencils to get my mojo going. Usually, when I have no mojo, I’ll dig through my scraps and pull out my mist, paints and stencils and just start throwing stuff on a page to see what happens. 🙂
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Pearl, Turquoise Blue
Cardstock: My Mind’s Eye
Patterned Paper: Jillibean Soup
Stickers: Jillibean Soup
Journaling Card: Jillibean Soup
Buttons: Buttons Galore
Stencil: The Crafter’s Workshop
Flowers: Prima
Spray the some Turquoise Blue mist on the center of the white cardstock.
Use a palette knife to spread some molding paste all over the stencil to create some florals in the background that isn’t too noticeable.
Gently peel the stencil off the cardstock to avoid smudging the molding paste.
Mix the pearl mist with some pink watercolor paint and splash all over the stencil was the stencil is dry.
To complete the layout, add patterned paper, photo and embellishments as shown. Use Yes Paste so you can have some flexibility moving the embellishments around. Once everything is mounted, add some more of the pink watercolor and pearl mist to add some more shimmer!
A memory recorded in a beautiful, pastel way.
