Hello, I am Viktoriya Porechnaya and today I have a colorful mandala on canvas.
Creating the mandala yourself is great way to relax and do some color therapy!
I used many different kinds of my favorite Tattered Angels paints.
I also have some hacks to share on how to create it – easy and fun!
I used sausers, plates and even tray from my kitchen for it!
Products used:
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists – Tutti Frutti, Sun Sisters, Iris (used to be Timeless Lilac), Aquamarine
Tattered Angels Glimmer Glazes – Blue Oasis, Candy Sprinkles, Purple Passion
Tattered Angels High Impact Paints – White, Aqua, Light Pink, Wheat, Rose Gold
Canvas Corp Stretched Canvas 12×12
White and black permanent markers
Chipboards, Brushes,pencil, Saucers, plate,tray
Toothsticks, chopsticks, hot air gun
Let’s start creating the Mandala!
Prepare some saucers and plates in different sizes from your kitchen and place the smallest one to the canvas center and draw around it with a pencil.
Then choose first color of Glimmer Mists and spray within the circle. I started with Tutti Frutti. Dry it.
Take a saucer on it and spray with the second color of Glimmer Mist-Sun Sisters. Dry it.
Place another place over these circles and use another color. Dry it.
Repeat these steps with other plates and other colors as you wish!
The colors will mix and blend together – this creates a rainbow-like effect and gives more color to your Mandala!
Dry it carefully and start to draw ornaments with black and white markers.
I used a plate for drawing lines and even a tray for bigger areas! I also added doodling – don’t worry what you’re doodling, just go for it!
Then set dots with High Impact Paints. I used sushi chopsticks and toothsticks for it. Easy and fun!
It’s great for relaxation!
You can finish the Mandala on this step…
…or can add some embellishments. I added golden accents – chipboard word Believe and butterflies.
