Where do you reside? City, State, Country
I live in Elyria, Ohio. A northern state on the shores of beautiful Lake Erie!!
Describe your design style…
I consider my style to be rustic and vintage — but I love to add unconventional elements and pair things that aren’t normally seen together. I love flowers and nature and you’ll see a lot of both in my work. I also like to use different textures such as burlap and fabric.
Who or what do you give credit to inspiring your creativity?
Ah — I’ve always been drawn to art and nature. My mom was a fabulous gardener so I’m sure that played into my love of flowers and botanical images. Messy paints, crayons and markers called out to me!!
What inspires you today?
Oh goodness, there are so many places to go for inspiration. Online blogs … pinterest … to name a few. I love to read magazines because I can tear out pages and pin them to the bulletin board in my studio. And, always find something inspiring when I am out walking!
What is your favorite Canvas Corp Brand Product? and why? Just one please!!!
I love Canvas Corp Brand paper — they are of such high quality. I love using them for my cards, journals, little notebooks — perfect!
We asked Beth to choose her favorite project she has created using CCB Products.
Why is it your favorite project?
My favorite project was the “Wide Open Spaces” layout. I am not a scrapbooker so this was a realy challenge. But I have to say that it was so much fun to create a scrapbook layout. I absolutely loved using the Mixed Media Origins Mermaid paper!
I am the happiest doing…
I am a creature of habit … so I’m always happy with my daily routine.
My favorite place to be creative…
I’m creative in my studio, of course. That’s where most of the creative work gets done. I recently started repurposing furniture and have a room for that, too. And, creativity absolutely happens outside in my garden!
Tell us one thing fun about you we might not know…
I am an avid reader — I always have a book in hand no matter where I am. And, I love doing crossword and soduko puzzles!! I want to keep my mind sharp.
Share with us anything about your creative life that you feel would inspire others…
Just be attentive to nature — there is so much there for inspiration! Don’t be afraid to experiment or try new things either. That’s where all the fun begins!
Thank you for stopping by! Have a great day!
