Crew Interview – Priscilla Lim

Where do you reside?
I’m from the sunny city known as Singapore.

Describe your design style…
I love playing with mediums to give a new breath of life to something plain or weathered. Metal trinkets, laces, flowers, buttons, sea shells are some of the embellishments I love to work with on my projects. I love pastel colors and I have special love for green shades 🙂

Who or what do you give credit to inspiring your creativity?
I started scrapping back in 2007 when my little prince was born. I developed from an innocent simple scrap page adorned with stickers to a fanatic craft girl where craft supplies and mediums make her super excited.

What inspires you today?
Everything around me today inspires me, from Mother Nature to building infrastructure. Even a empty picture frame inspires me! Lol.

What is your favorite Canvas Corp Brand Product? and why? Just one please!!!
Oh, this have to be Tattered Angels products. The very first medium I played with was Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and till today, it is still my favourite to work with. The colors are just gorgeous and the mists are so easy to work with.

We asked Priscilla to choose her favorite project she has created using CCB Products.

Why is it your favorite project?
This is one of my favourite projects simply because I love everything about it! Everything is so me! The pretty colors; not to mention the subtle glimmer. Embellished with elegant pearl string, butterflies and flowers and seashells which are what I like to work with. Not to mention the little motivation banner which does not fail to inspire me. Each time, I lift up my head to look at this little project, it just brings a smile to my face.

Do you teach and if so tell us a bit about what you teach, where you go and some of your favorite places?
No, I do not teach.

I am the happiest doing…
I am the happiest when I get to play around with my craft supplies. It does not have to be a big massive piece; even simple doodles make me happy.

My favorite place to be creative…
On my dining table which doubles up as my craft table.

Tell us one thing fun about you we might not know…
I LOVE yoga!!!

Share with us anything about your creative life that you feel would inspire others…
As a full time working mum, time really is a luxury. To make full use of it, I carry simple craft supplies with me most of the time. An A5 mixed media book and my pens (I used both Zig Millennium and Sakura Micron) – that way I can be arty whenever I go.
