Crew Interview – Sheri Levitt

It’s time for another post in our Canvas Corp Crew Interviews. We are extremely privileged to be able to work with a group of over a 100 of amazing designers from around the world. They have all come together to create, share ideas, support each other, let us know what we can do better and remind us of what we are doing well.  Our Crew members contribute projects to our blog, design with our products on their blogs, create models for our trade shows, packaging and other fun little projects.  We love to hear what they have to say, to be inspired by their work and to learn new things everyday.
Today, we get to know Sheri Levitt.

Where do you reside?
Las Vegas, NV USA

Describe your design style…
My mixed media style varies with the mood I’m in. I love bright colors, Retro clean and simple, grungy.
Who or what do you give credit to inspiring your creativity?

About 26 years ago, I was given a rubber stamp and a couple ink pads from my friend Janine. Then she got me to go to a rubber stamp convention and the rest is history.

What inspires you today?
Bright colors, the mood I’m in, what is going on in life, retro, what my online craft friends are doing and sometimes my humor plays into my work.

What is your favorite Canvas Corp Brand Product? and why? Just one please!!!
My favorite product is the Tattered Angels sprays. They’re quick and easy to put color on a page. The colors are great and love the shimmer.

We asked Sheri to choose her favorite project she has created using CCB Products.

Why is it your favorite project?
I love the texture of the background and how grungy the background is with the contrast of the bright colors of the girl and the zombie.

I am the happiest doing…
being crafty in my craft room.

My favorite place to be creative…
in my craft room.

Though I don’t do it as much anymore, I do like baking.
