The holidays are a time when family arrives, so getting the house ready for guests, not only with decorations but also getting organized, and simplifying things. Crew Member Angélique Jarrier has a great idea for getting things organized, while keeping them close at hand. So often storage pieces don’t match our decor or we have a great idea with a vintage piece that needs a little TLC. Take a look at this simple project and you can get organized and look chic at the the same time.
Today, I come to present a makeover project. I had a box to put the coffee supplies in my kitchen, but the box did not match my kitchen decor, so I decided to transform it!!!!
This is a really simple and fun project and in a short time you can transform a lot of things to match your decor.
My house has undergone many changes so I have a lot of objects to transform so that my objects of decorations harmonize with my interior.
Tools and Other Items Used
– Box
– Brush
You have your choice of coffee and tea papers from the Canvas Corp Beans and Bags Collection where you can pick the paper that works best for you.
Start with a good flat box with compartments that are perfect for holding your coffee and tea supplies right where you need them.
The second step will be to paint our box, it is really very simple and fast. We can already see the transformation.
As our paint dries, we will move on to the third step. We will take our paper and cut it to the measurements of our box. This one is so beautiful that I preferred to leave it as is and not add colors but that could have made the touch too.
To finish, we just paste our paper on the top of our box and you can put the protective glass over the top.
Fill with lots of goodies and set the coffee or tea maker right on top. This is a great idea for Keurig or other single up makers, you can store all the options right below your machine.
