Crew Member Netra Bates is all about creative DIY projects and bringing inspiration to life. So many of Netra’s projects are functional decor items that fill her home with beauty and we love that. Today we are showcasing her office where she has created the sweetest bulletin board and desk accessories. Who says you have to spend a lot to make your office, studio or craft space look fun and trendy? Let’s take a closer look at Netra’s creations.

I love the idea of pin boards and inspiration so I grabbed a few Canvas Corp Stretched Canvases and got to work. I painted them white which made the canvas more stiff and made them easier to pin things on. I hung them up and started to add little bits and cut outs from the Wanderlust and Ordre Du Jour 7gypsies paper pads.
This Be Free Paper from 7g is a great piece and one of the choices Netra made while designing her board.
Many of the 7gypsies papers have great sayings and fun art that can be cut out for added decor to your boards. I used 3 square hooks at the top of the biggest canvas and hung things from it. I glued a tack to a mini clothespin to also use as a hanging mechanism. I also just used some good ole tape!
To add some pizzazz to my desk decor, I added some of the beautiful Handmade Embossed Burnished Floral Paper, and an old candle jar. Lastly, I added some flowers and pencils. It was easy and so pretty!

Little flowers from your stash can be added here and there to give your board a trendy look. These boards are great for putting up goodies for your next project, color palettes you love, print outs from Pinterest, and more.
So gather a few canvases and create you own bulletin board wall.
Thanks Netra.
Happy Creating!!!
