Do Your Shopping in Style – Customized canvas bag

I am Ava Gavloski and today I have for you a customized canvas bag which I made as a gift for a friend of mine -she is an avid shopper and the bag is perfect to survive the many shopping trips in style.

Materials used to upcycle the canvas bag:
Canvas Corp 12 x 12 Burlap Sheet – Green
Canvas Corp Canvas Flower – Red
Canvas Corp Canvas Bag
Wire, Embroidery Floss, Upcycled jewelry
Scissors, Sewing Needle

Cut some 1″ strips from the green burlap sheet. Trim one end of the strips to create a point to act as the leave points. Cup shape your leaves by cutting a 4″ piece of wire and wrapping wire around the 1″ strip near the bottom of your strip.

Thread an embroidery needle with some embroidery floss and sew on your canvas flowers.

Sew on some embellishment pieces in the center of the flower to create a uniquie presentation. I chose to use some beaded earings. Sew on your leaves behind the flowers.
