Farmhouse Christmas Easel Cards

Our Farmhouse Christmas papers has been a favorite pick among our Crew this year. All the papers in the Mix and Match pad coordinate perfectly and it makes cardmaking a fun and easy task! Patti Senter recently taught a class in which she created these clever little easel cards using our Farmhouse Christmas Mix and Match pad. We love fun interactive cards like these easels that can stand on their own to become a Christmas display on your mantel or entry table!

Materials Used:

Farmhouse Christmas mix and match pad
Jolly Christmas mix and match pad
Ribbon Stripe cardstock
Burlap Fringe in Red
Hemp Cording in Red
Kraft Card Bases

Glimmer Mist in Dazzling Diamonds and Iridescent Gold

Flat back pearls in red
Aleenes Tacky Glue
Beacons Fabri-Tac glue
Dazzling Diamonds Stickles
Glittler paper scraps
Chipboard scraps (to pop up elements)
Scor Tape in various sizes

Tools Used:

Martha Stewart pine bough punch
Martha Steward Scor Board and Bone folder
EK Success Round Punches in 2 1/2″, 1 1/2″, 3/8″

The hardest thing about these cards is punching the boughs with the Martha Stewart pine bough punch. It’s just time consuming, but oh so worth it!

You’ll want to make sure you only glue one end of all the boughs to your wreath, if you glue the whole piece you’ll have a flat looking wreath. Gluing one end and pulling the tips out will insure you have a great dimensional look to your card.

The best thing is being able to mail them flat in a standard A2 sized envelope such as the bulk Kraft envelopes I used from the store.
