Meet Kim Rippere, a terrific asset to the Crew. Kim has been creating and crafting with us for quite some time. Kim is always there supporting the latest challenge, helping us tell our seasonal stories or sharing a new technique or idea.
Describe your design style…. Modern.Eclectic.Twist{ed}.
Who or what do you give credit to inspiring your creativity? My creativity is inspired from within. The most basic thing that has allowed my creativity to flourish is having the time to pursue it. I am lucky enough that I don’t work and craft almost full time.
What inspires you most today? Nature, other crafters!
What is your favorite Canvas Corp Brand Product? and why? This is my second year on the Creative Crew so I have had the opportunity to work with many different products. There are quite a few that I am in love with! One of these is a piece of paper that I adore. I use it in many projects, think it should be in everyone’s craft area, and I use it as a backdrop for photos of projects… Kraft & White Lace Paper! Note: it is the background on my favorite Canvas Corp Brands project!
One of my favorite projects is the card I am giving my mother for Mother’s Day this year.
I am the happiest doing….. I am the happiest with family and friends, traveling, eating, crafting, at the water, and enjoying the stress-free parts of life.

My favorite place to be creative….. I love being in my craft room. Some of my most creative and collaborative time is when my mom and I work together on projects.
These might be sewing, quilting, paper crafting, home decor, other something else we decide to do with no notice, no expertise, lots of confidence…and it is better if it is after 10pm!
Where do you reside? Southwest Georgia, USA.
Tell us one cool detail about your studio or craft space… I live in a home built in 1885 with large rooms. As a result, my craft room is about 15×15! It includes space for crafting, craft supplies, my office, a “photo studio,” and an easy conversion to a video studio.
Tell us one thing fun about you we might not know… I love animals and think my house needs them to feel like a home. Currently, we have Tuey, Fitty, and Doodles; one dog and 2 cats, respectively.
Share with us anything about your creative life that you feel would inspire others…. I love to incorporate recycling, reusing, and reinventing. So, I keep things for years until they find the right place. You never know what might come in handy later.
