We travel far north for a glimpse of Norway from Stord, where Crew member Linda Svendsen resides.
This is Kristiansund, where she is originally from.  The views are magnificent.

This is my beautiful hometown Kristiansund:

Describe your design style….  My style is colorful or maybe a bit whimsical, you never know my next step!
In Norway, we have a saying, “veien blir til mens du går” meaning: “Until you walk the path, you don’t know where it goes.”  That is how I scrap. I don’t have a plan, I just “go with the flow” (but in my own way).  I like bright colors, and I don’t use black or dark colors often.  I also like it fun, with a touch of fun madness.  I think humor is important.

Who or what do you give credit to inspiring your creativity?  Everyone and everything.  I have too much creativity just waiting to be used.  But I like to watch Youtube videos for ideas or inspiration.

What inspires you most today?  When I see rainbows and feathers, or bright and pastel colors together. And bobbles.

What is your favorite Canvas Corp Brand Product? and why?   Glimmer Mist is my favorite.  Its been my favorite since I got my hands on my first Glimmer Mist Paint in 2008.  I love the colors and the shine, and how they react.

What is your favorite project you have created using CCB Products? Why is it your favorite?  This mixed media holiday project.  Here is the link on my blog I love the color, and how cool the burlap is in pocketscrap-pockets.

Do you teach and if so tell us a bit about what you teach, where you go, and some of your favorite places?  I have given some classes in Pocket Scrap, and with Glimmer Mist. I called the Glimmer Mist class my ‘messy class’, and it is so much fun to watch people who normally don’t do anything messy get all excited and really get in that “messy-fun-zone”.  In my messy class, we tried making different backgrounds with medium and Glimmer Mist to see how Glimmer Mist would react with water.  We wanted to see how you can use this background to make a layout, card, or for art journaling.I have had my classes at my own scrapp-convention – I have this convention 2 times a year. So for 2 weekends every year me and about 80 crafters scrap from friday at 5:00 to sunday at 4:00. We even get an hour or two to sleep 😉

I am the happiest doing…..  something creative like crafting or baking.  I also love doing “nothing” with my family.

My favorite place to be creative…..  My cave.
Tell us one cool detail about your studio or craft space…  Its a messy cave. To others it look like chaos, but I have 100% control. I know where everything is and I love my scrap-cave.

Tell us one thing fun about you we might not know…  I’m a bit over-spontaneous. I don’t think ahead of time.  I love to plan my kids birthday and Halloween parties, I love to bake, and I am a YouTube addict.

Share with us anything about your creative life that you feel would inspire others….  I go my own way, I do my own style, and I don’t think.

We ask each member of the Crew to create a mini canvas that shows off their creative style.  Linda goes her own way and turned the canvas backwards and created her art.  We love that about her and hope she keeps turning things around and doing them her own way.
