Today we would like to travel to Siberia in the heart of Russia to the beautiful city of Khanty-Mansiysk, where our next spotlight artist lives. Here we introduce you to Tatiana Klimshina, a designer for the Canvas Corp Brands Design Team, aka the “Creative Crew!”
Khanty-Mansiysk is the capital of the world biathlon cup and chess Olympiad. Residents have 8 months of the winter weather throughout the year, but they all have warm hearts according to Tatiana! Visit the Khanty-Mansiysk Wikipedia page for info on her beautiful city!
As part of our spotlight series we have asked each crew member to share a little bit about themselves. Questions that spotlight their creative talents and where the get inspired by. Our crew is spread out across the globe. They provide us and our artistic community with so much creativity on a daily basis. We are excited to bring to life their journey while we share ours….So lets get started and meet Tatiana….
Describe your design style…. I love color, and love adding paints in all my projects. Actually, I can create in any style, it depends of my mood and inspiration but they are all full of bright and color.
Who or what do you give credit to for inspiring your creativity? Photos are my main inspiration, photos of my family and friends. It is important for me to know the person in the photo, I need a story to make any project and of course new papers and craft stuff! These are always inspiring and fun.
What inspires you most today? Today I like the new bright vintage style. I love layers, old book sheets, browns, colors, this is my passion for today.
What is your favorite Canvas Corp Brand Product? and why? (We asked them to pick just one, which has proven to be difficult for some and easy for others.) Oh, I love all of them! All Tattered Angles are my love through years in crafting. 7gypsies love for unique vintage style, but all Canvas Corp products are new for me, especially the papers, they are my happy discovery. So, I think, that Canvas Corp papers are my favorite products. Did you know that all Canvas Corp paper have got resist effect? Isn’t this amazing!
What is your favorite project you have created using CCB Products? My favorite is December Daily Journal. I love it because made it on high wave of inspiration.
Now it full of precious memories. Actually, that is why I love crafting.
Do you teach and if so tell us a bit about what you teach, where you go and some of your favorite places? Unfortunately, I do not teach now, but I am really want to start!!! We can’t wait when you do Tatiana!!!
I am the happiest doing…..I am happy if I have a free time to spend it in my craft room. I have two little kids and I am with them 24/7 🙂
My favorite place to be creative…..It is my crafting space. If I do not have any ideas to make something, just need to clean up my space and mood would come in a minute!
Tell us one cool detail about your studio or craft space. All furniture is very old, but now it looks like new because of my creative husband and the can of blue paint 🙂
Tell us one thing fun about you we might not know…I am passion traveler and already visited over 15 countries from USA to Japan.
Share with us anything about your creative life that you feel would inspire others…. I always try to go outside the box and not afraid to do something new this is a key to creativity. So be brave and passionate! Love you guys!
