As our October Challenge is all about women in our life Crew Member Chris Pozzi today share a project dedicated to a women that has been important in her life – her Grandmother.
“I have always been inspired by my Grandmother! She has lived her entire life with lupus! To me she was always a bible loving/preaching grandma. I look at this picture and realize that she was also young and playful too!” – Chris
Follow a few, easy steps to create something similar to what Chris did. This is how she created the layout:
step 1
Fussy cut frame the from 7 Gypsies Architextures 8×8 Paper Pad Collection #1. Distress the Frame with Distress Ink and add colored pencil highlights in blue, red and yellow.
step 2
step 3
Distress the edges of the 7gypsies papers & letters with distress ink. Layer patterned papers to create interest. Chris used Architextures “Song Bird Sings” 12 x 12 paper & the Wallpaper piece that comes with Architextures Junk Pack “Parlour”. Use a mini stapler to attach the distressed letters to the page. Add the framed photo and 7gypsies Architextures Treasures – Vintage Market Bicycle. Add the title to finish off the page.
