Halloween Tags, Bags and Crafty Projects

With just about every Canvas Corp release, we create a tag, sampler or sayings paper filled with ephemera, signs and sayings. Our Haunt It Tags paper is full of parts and pieces designed to be cut about and easily turned into cards, tags, added to albums, bags, layouts and more with just one 12×12 paper.  This inexpensive set of embellishments can be tinted, painted, misted, altered, inked, etc. to make them something special.  They are a perfect choice when doing card classes, mini book classes, make and takes or simple craft projects on a budget.  

Here are a few examples of tags, bags and cards using this sheet and coordinating papers.  We are showing off the Haunt It Tags, but you will find similar papers across many of the Canvas Corp Collections.

Halloween Ticking Tags – cut out your favorite saying, glue to a piece of coordinating kraft & black paper and stitch on a              little orange or black ticking ruffle at the bottom.  Punch a single hole at the top, add jute and you have the cutest handmade Halloween Tags.

You Drive Me Batty!!! Design team member, Kim, starts her tag with a saying from the Haunt It Tags atop layers of orange, black and kraft papers, burlap and goodies.  Punch a hole at the top and add a piece of black jute and your tag is ready to go.  For more of Kim’s work visit her blog.

‘May Luck Be Yours on Halloween’ – The cardstock weight of the Haunt It Tags makes it a perfect base for making mixed media tags.  Lighter weight paper does not always hold up to lots of embellishments, but our papers can take lots of inking, painting, gluing and more.  Irit, a member of our design team, blends a little glitzy, glam and texture to create this To: and From:  Halloween tag.  For more of Irit’s work visit her blog.

‘Masquerading’ Bag is a perfect little tag to add to a Halloween hostess gift, send a quick hello note or just for fun.  Leave the cards as they are or fussy cut the shapes and designs to give you a hand-stamped look as Kimberly has done here.  The Canvas Corp papers are all designed with touches of hand-drawn vintage art that are beautiful just as they are.

Haunt It Librarie Drawer Cards – cut up the tags to create the perfect little Halloween ATC’s as Sheila shows us in this fun Halloween Mini Librarie Drawer project.  Add glitter, glam, ink, crystals, charms and more to dress them up.

Halloween ATC’s – fussy cut the artwork from the Haunt It Tags and add to ATC size cards.  The weight of these paper allows you to make them dimensional and hold up to paint, glitter, mist, ink, stamps, glam and all you can throw at it.

Mixed Media Haunted Cake – add cuts, sayings and icons to make signs and embellishments on mixed media projects like this fun, spooky, paper cake centerpiece Kimberly created.
