Halloween Witch’s Hat

Fall is the perfect time for cooler weather, falling leaves and of course Halloween!  Using Canvas Corp Kraft Stock Halloween Paper to make a collage on the Witch hat base, this super cute table topper is sure to entice your Halloween guests for more treats! So let’s get started!

To get started, I used a paper mache Witch Hat base that I got at my local craft store. Using Canvas Corp Halloween Kraft Stock Paper, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Orange and Tattered Angels Color Wash in French Roast along with  Canvas Corp Orange Flower and hemp rope, this was a super easy and fun project to make!

I cut the kraft paper into different sized squares and then applied collage medium to the base, the back and front of the kraft paper. You have to hold it for about 30 seconds as the kraft paper is heavy stock.  I applied different squares all around the witch hat to give it a collage patchwork look!

Then I sprayed the entire hat with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in It’s Orange! It is the perfect Halloween Orange color and leaves a beautiful shimmer on the hat. Then I took Tattered Angels Color wash Paint in French Roast and outlined the different squares of kraft card stock. This added some depth to the project!  Then to finish it off I used Canvas Corp Orange Hemp rope and a Canvas Corp Flower bow to the hat! I love the effect of the finish on the hat!

As you can see the effect is fantastic!
I love the vintage look of the Canvas Corp Halloween Card Stock collaged onto the Witch Hat Base!
