These cake shaped gift boxes are easy to make and actually you need a template or a craft die to make the shape. Crew Member Irit Shalom used the non branded craft die, but there are a lot of free templates on the web to use for the same shape. This box is a perfect gift box for a jewelry piece, a watch or something small to put inside as the size is exactly like a cake piece. All cardstocks and the lace pieces are from Canvas Corp Brands and all mediums are from Tattered angels. The dies are from different companies, some are non branded or gifts, but these are general craft dies such as leaves or lace dies.

step 2
Mist the white box and all pieces that you are adding to this box with Crocheted Doily Glimmer mist and let it dry. Embellish the misted (was white) box with a strip border and lace die cut on both sides as shown. Embellish the top of the box with misted paper triangles, piece of lace, doe cut Kraft cardstock leaves and glue the silk and paper flowers. Mist over with the same Crocheted Doily mist . Add the pearl string around the embellishments cluster.
step 3
Embellish the brown box with cardstock strips and scalloped strips on both sides as shown. Glue paper triangles over the box. Add a die cut dotted doily and E-flute die cut leaves over the pieces of lace trimming as shown. Glue the flowers and add the pearl string.
