Heart Tag with Glimmer Glaze

Hello, I am Gemma Hynes and I love any excuse to add a skull to a project and this time of year with Halloween right around the corner is the perfect time for me to indulge. This heart tag happens to combines everything I love about crafting, Skulls, Hearts, Stamping, Sprays, and contrasting colours.

Products used for the tag:
Tattered Angels High Impact Paint – White
Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze – Parsley and Sweet Pea
Tattered Angel Glimmer Mist – Party Pink
Black Ink, Gel Medium, White paint pen
Paintbrushes, Stencils, Stamps, Pallete Knife, Water bottle

Apply a layer of Gel Medium through a stencil onto the tag. This will give the tag texture and a slight resist effect in some areas.

Once dry use a paint brush to dab glazes over the tag. Allow the glazes to mix with each other, you can tilt the tag or use the paint brush to help the glazes move if needed.

Spray a sheet of heavy card with a Glimmer Mist allowing the spray to pool in some areas and diluting it with water in others. Once dry draw and cut out three different sized hearts, a heart shaped stencil is great for this but hand drawn ones are lovely as well. Stamp over the top with black ink to give them more interest.

Use a white paint pen to highlight some of the texture on the tag and use High Impact paint to create splats.

Glue the hearts to the tag after edging them in black and adding extra details in white.
