How to create a travel themed journal

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today sharing a travel themed journal using assorted papers from Canvas Corp. With our travel plans now coming to life, I plan to use this journal to document where we are going and what we’ve done.

Supplies:
Canvas Corp. Pink and Ivory Toile Paper
Canvas Corp. Chocolate on Kraft Paper
Canvas Corp. Chocolate and Ivory French Script
Canvas Corp. 12″ x 12″ Burlap Panel
Tattered Angels Strawberry Ice Chalkboard Glimmer Mist
Tattered Angels Cross My Heart Glimmer Mist
Tattered Angels Copper High Impact Paint
Joy Clair Stamps
Imagine Ink

Cut Pink and Ivory Toile Paper to 4″ x 5 1/2″.
Using a brick stencil, add modeling paste randomly about the panel.

Paint the panel using Tattered Angels Strawberry Ice Chalkboard Glimmer Mist and Tattered Angels Copper High Impact Paint.

Cut French Script paper to fit the album. Paint the panel with Tattered Angels Cross My Heart Glimmer Mist.
Mat both panels with Chocolate on Kraft paper.
Add burlap strips to the larger panel.
Adhere a ticket to the smaller panel.

Paint metal embellishments and chipboard pieces with Tattered Angels Copper High Impact Paint.

Adhere the panels to the album.
Add the label to the tag using brads.
Stamp and fussy cut the jeep and phrase and add both to the cover.
Finish by adding arrows and gears.
