Junk journals are so much fun to make and to use.
Aristi Moorjackie created this vintage junk journal we’re sharing with you today and here is what she said about her creation:
I created a junk journal using pages from the 12×12 paper pad from 7gypsies Wanderlust, burlap and canvas from a mix & match pad Studio from home basics. I loved the papers so I wanted to keep the original size and have images complete specially the ballerina and the building so I folded it in have the 12×12 papers and make it look like a file folder. For the cover I wanted a rustic look so I added canvas and laces with some metal elements.
I used a card from the pad that said “I wish I’d done everything with you” because it meant something to me and I stamped on fabric the words “love” and “wish”. I also use a part of a Greek poem from a novelist that talks about love and lost. So for me this journal is about a loved one that travels and its far away.
Now let’s see her video!!
