Scrapbooking is like keeping a diary in a way; you write down memories and feelings so that people after you can be part of your thoughts and experiences. There are many ways of scrapbooking memories: traditional paper scrapbooking; ‘shy’, couple of splashes of paint on the mostly paper-focused page; mixed-media, which can be as ‘extravagant’ and ‘mixed-up’ as you like. Some layouts have journalling on them to document in words the events and feelings, some have titles, some have no words at all. There are no limits. No rights and no wrongs.
Today, we’re sharing with you ways of scrapping with a variety of Canvas Corp Brands Products: Tattered Angels mists and papers, Canvas Corp Scrap Packs and 7gypsies embellishments. We have all you need for your memory keeping in style.

Next is Jennifer Hottinger-Sloan with a traditional scrapbooking layout ‘HONEY BEAR’.
‘A layout using a mixture of Canvas Corp and 7gypsies paper products. Using a base of black cardstock, CC white dot paper was layered down with some paper from the Scrap Pack added to it. The blueish paper behind the photo is from the 7 Gypsies Marine 6 x 6 pad. The bee hive and bee were cut from the CC Water Can collection and added to the layout. Added some stickers and other embellishments from my over flowing stash!’ – explained Jennifer.
Materials used:
Canvas Corp Scrap Pack
Thickers
Beacon Zipdry Glue
various embellishments from my stash
Last but not least, we have SANNA LIPPERT with her mixed media layout ‘WHAT IF’
– she also mixed up products from all 3 brands in this colourful project.
‘I want to record my personal memories of my family and tell my family story from my perspective so that my children and grandchildren can better understand our family history. This is one of those scrapbook layouts. It tells the story of my dad, as I see/know it. He did not get to live very long and I wonder what our relationship would be like if he had lived longer. That is also what this layout is about. Thus the old photo of him, the masculine, rustic style layout. I´ve also tried to fit this page into a scrapbook style category. I love this kind of memory keeping. And of course, playing with the media, papers and embellishments is a big bonus, too. I call the result masculine, rustic boho style.’ – explains Sanna.
Materials used:
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists (Red/purple, brass and copper tones)
