Hello all, it´s Evelyn here today!
I want to share with you a little useful helper. If you have a problem with the tangling cable of your earphones like me, this little clutch can be a solution. I found a picture on pinterst, which showed a little cable clutch for earphones. It was made of leather and pretty clean. Nice, but I thought – I would want it more colorful!
So I took out some canvas fabric, a whole bunch of Mists, some stamps, kam snaps, which I bought a while ago, diecut some circles and started to create my little clutches.
Materials I used:
Canvas Corp – Canvas Fabricsheet 30″ x 36″
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Chartreuse, Yellow Daisy, Black Cherry, Dried Lavender, Mardi Gras, Cadillac Pink, Limeade, Rolling Tide, Jack Frost, Vintage Lace, Mountain Mist, Vintage Brass, Tattered Leather
Tattered Angels Simply Sheer Mist – Fresh Orange
Tattered Angels Baseboard Mist- Red Rocks, Leaf
Tattered Angels Chalkboard Mist – Polka Dot Pink, Violet Rose, Evergreen,
Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam – Tansanite
white Gesso, white glue, Kam Snaps, Versa Fine Clair Nokturne, stamps, Spellbinders circle die, scissors, brushes, heatgun
I started to diecut some circles from the canvas sheet and started to color them with Tattered Angels Mists. The Mists are perfect to use on Canvas. They dye the fabric absolutely bright.
After this was done, I did some stamping with black ink. To highlight some parts of the stamps, I painted some images with white Gesso. Now I only had to seal the edges with some white glue and adhere the kam snaps with the matching tools – and that´s it! I had so much fun making the first little clutch, that I had to make some more.
Well – here they are!
I made a process video, so sit back and enjoy watching!
Now I hope you feel inspired to make this little helper by yourself.
Thank you for your visit today and have a good time!
Evelyn
