Making fun Easter decor can be fun and easy – grab you Easter craft supplies, a little lace and ribbon and see what you might come up.
Hello crafters! I am Agnes Kieler and today, it’s my turn to share some crafty ideas with you here on the CCB blog.
Easter is coming so why not create a small Easter egg decoration which you can use as a small gift for friends and family.
This time, I made an MDF Easter egg and used Tattered Angels mists and paints and Canvas Corp lovely tissue paper and 7gypsies lace.
Agnes used the following products:
Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze – Parsley, Mercury Glass, Palo Verde
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – It’s Yellow, Kiwi, It’s Brown
Canvas Corp Tan and Ivory French Script Paper
Canvas Corp Printed Canvas Sheet – Spring Showers
Canvas Corp Burlap Fringe – Hunter
White gesso
Green rope, Moss, Sisal
MDF pice from Artistiko
Hot glue, scissors
I hope you enjoy my short photo tutorial and get inspired to create your own unique pieces of easter decor.
Prepare tissue paper and white gesso.
Add pieces of them on the MDF egg and cover them with gesso. Make sure you wait until everything dries.
After everything is dry, you can start creating our Easter composition with moss, sisal and pieces of lace.
You need to add some colour too – I simply sprayed the elements with Glimmer Mists and let it dry.
I chose Glimmer Mist to colour my paper and MDF decorations.
After colouring them, I added each pice to my project and my easter composition was ready 🙂
I hope you enjoyed this fast and easy tutorial.
Happy Easter!
