Mixed Media Mini Art Projects with Canvas Corp Brands

Chris Pozzi here sharing my two mixed media mini art projects – I really wanted to show you that with TA mists and a couple of bits and pieces you can create some absolutely outstanding beauties!

Musical Wings

I am in love with these Mini Mixed Origins Papers! And this one is one of my favorites! I wanted to use it to create a mini art piece to put up in my office and … here it is!

Tattered Angels Mixed Media Mini Origins Art Collection – Wings
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Patina, Pop Rocks, Rose Gold
Canvas Corp – E-Flute – Kraft
Canvas Corp – Black Thickstock
Blank Page Muse – Background Grunge Art Rubber Stamp set,  Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set
Blank Page Muse – Seth Apter Embossing Powder – Patine Oxide
Multi-Medium Gloss, Versamark embossing ink, Mixed Media Paper, Black embossing Powder

• Paint wings on Mini Origins paper with Multi-medium gloss. Let dry. This will seal the wings from all your misting.
• Stamp rosettes from Background Grunge Stamp Set. Emboss with Patina Oxide embossing powder.
• Mist Mini Origins papers with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Patina. Once dry mist with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Pop Rocks, then Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Rose Gold.
• Mat onto CCB Black Thickstock.
• Cut CCB E Flute Kraft paper to slightly larger than matted image. Mist with Glimmer Mists to match Mini Origins paper. Adhere matted Mini Origins paper onto E Flute.
• Stamp and emboss sentiment from Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set onto Mixed Media paper. Mist to coordinate with background.
• Mat sentiment onto CCB Black Thickstock and attach to project to finish.

Lady in Red

This was my one of my favorite pictures from my daughter’s senior photo shoot, and I have waited forever to create with it!
I decided to pair it with the New Tattered Angels Rose Gold Glimmer Mist and Printed Postal Cardboard.

Canvas Corp Printed Cardboard – Postal 
Canvas Corp – Black Thickstock
Tattered Angels Simply Sheer – Rosey
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Rose Gold, English Ivy, Golden Lime
Tattered Angels ColorWash Pain – Weathered Copper
7gypsies Architextures™ Findings – Angel Wings
The Crafter’s Workshop – Mini Swiss Dot Stencil
Modeling Paste, Leaf Vine Punch
Paper Rose, Pearl Sprigs

• Mark 6 x 6 cut lines back side of Printed Cardboard. Cut apart.
• Mist Printed Cardboard with attered Angels Simply Sheer – Rosey and then with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Rose Gold.
• Mix molding paste with Tattered Angels ColorWash Pain – Weather Copper. Apply over Stencil. Let dry.
• Add 7 Gypsies Architextures™ Findings – Angel Wings to background.
• Mat photo onto CCB Thickstock and add to background.
• Punch leaf vines and mist with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists in Golden Lime and English Ivy. Add to background.
• Finish with a paper rose and pearl sprigs.
