Mixology: Iced Tea Packets

We’re in love with the new line of black and white Mixology papers!  These fun graphics are ideal for adding splashes of Tattered Angels glimmer mists and glazes and they’re perfect for everyday scrapping, crafting, and even gift giving. Today we’re sharing one such gift giving idea; Iced Tea packets you can share for thirst quenching sips.  Let’s get started.

The supplies are simple:

8 inch X 2 1/2 inch piece of black card stock (you’ll want as many strips as you have tea bags)
Tea bags
Double sided tape
Assortment of Mixology Papers (cut and trim to fit strips of black card stock)
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists and/or Glazes
Paintbrush (optional)

Score the strips of black card stock at these marks: 2 3/4 inch, 3 1/2 inch, & 6 1/2 inch.  Fold into a matchbook.

Using the double sided tape, attach the teabag to the inside of the matchbook.  Fold down the top flap and tape closed.

Optional: use the Tattered Angels mists and/or paints to decorate the cute Mixology paper cut-outs.  Attach to the front of matchbook.

For added cuteness: fussy cut an image, paint, and attach to the end of the tea bag string.

Finish your gift off with some cute paper straws and and pack it all up in a mason jar-they’d make excellent hostess gifts.
