October Challenge – Women

As October is breast cancer awareness month we thought we´d celebrate women! Tell us the story about a women you know, that has inspired you, that you look up to.

The How to:

To enter this challenge you need to link up your entry  Blog post, or post on Instagram, Facebook or Pinterest (link to the actual project – not the whole page) by using the linkytool below. You have until the end of November 4 to submit your project!  All submissions must have #ccbchallenge somewhere to be considered.

Only 1 entry per person allowed. Are you a previous winner? That does NOT exclude you for winning again – please join in!! We also want to you to include at least 1 item from any of the Canvas Corp Brands (please mention the product so we know).

We will invite the winner of the challenges to be our Guest Designer. This means that they will get a box filled with goodies from all 3 Canvas Corp Brands to play with.

This month’s challenge is about strong women and I chose to honor my mother. She lost her 1st child at only 5 months of age, she endured separation from my dad when he was stationed overseas in the service. And she finally succumbed to Alzheimer’s. But she was a rock and taught me everything! So I made these primitive ATCs out of cardboard, using mostly packaging from Architextures items I have!

My layout is about one woman I admire- Queen Elisabeth II of Great Britain She is the longest-reigning monarch in British history. becoming a much loved and respected figure across the globe! She celebrated 65 years on the throne in February 2017 with her Sapphire Jubilee (92 years old)! Elisabeth has extraordinary life from a young girl who did not expect to be Queen, to an iconic and celebrated figure
Her patronages and charities cover a wide range of issues, from opportunities for young people, to the preservation of wildlife and the environment.

For much of her life, the Queen has surrounded herself with dogs. She is especially known for her love of corgis, owning more than 30 Elizabeth is also a horse enthusiast for many years.
She enjoys reading mysteries, working on crossword puzzles and even watching wrestling on television. So she is a very inspirational person!

I celebrate a woman how I admire – my mother! She was so young when I born. She and my father was be amazing and she was so great role model for me – so to be woman and mother! She is 15 years old in this scrapbooking page. 2 years before I born.

Thinking about extraordinary women one historical person crossed my mind. Abigail – wise and courageous woman who lived in distant time of king David. Her wisdom and beauty made deep impression on the king so eventually she became his wife. This notebook cover is my vision of Abigail – the beautiful and passionate woman.
