Product Match Up: Petaloo & Canvas Corp Brands Day 4 Holiday Banners, Books & Cards

We embark on day 4 of our creative journey with Petaloo International and their DIY Flowers.  We have had so much fun playing with all the goodies, painting flowers, putting them on this and that and creating exciting holiday projects.  Today we are excited to share this fun project created by Lynne Forsythe.  Lynne is part of the Petaloo Design Team and we are also honored to have her on our Crew.

Lynne created this beautiful ‘Believe Banner’ that would make any wall a stand out this holiday season.  To see how Lynne creates this flower Christmas Tree with Petaloo DIY Flowers, Tattered Angels Paints and bits and pieces of Canvas Corp burlap and cording stop by the Petaloo Blog and don’t forget to sign up to win!!!!6a0133f1607ae3970b01b7c7ea92bd970b-320wiA blank Canvas Corp Burlap Banner is the perfect surface to create for any holiday or for an everyday project.  If you were not sure how Glimmer Mist and Burlap look together, now you know, beautiful.  The burlap picks up the amazing color and actually makes it deeper and more beautiful.  You can mist a bit and leave some of the burlap exposed or mist the entire piece.  The pieces Lynne used are Canvas Corp Burlap Mini Round Shapes that are made with two circles sewn together with the rough burlap edges exposed.  There are other great Shapes available too, in two different sizes.

We are simply loving all the beautiful creations on Canvas Corp Burlap and Canvas Blanks, but we thought it would be fun to venture off a bit and play with a few of Canvas Corp holiday papers and printed fabrics and pairing them up with Petaloo’s DIY Flowers and Tattered Angels Mists of course.

We love the color combination of red, ivory and black for the holidays, it gives such a great nostalgic feel.  Sharon kicks things off with this lovely holiday recipe book that was created on the 7gypsies Naked Tabbed Book and the Canvas Corp Holiday Baking Collection.  You will find all the details on Sharon’s blog on how to make this beautiful recipe book, which is the perfect holiday gift or a great way to store your favorite recipes.

The DIY Flowers with just a touch of color look terrific on the front cover of Sharon’s book.  The Holiday Baking Collection was designed with vintage art, printed in red, giving it a unique, stamped look. Perfect for fussy cutting, inking, trimming or using the all over as it is.

MIX4177_Mix_Match_Pad_Holiday_baking_1024x1024The entire book was created with the 7gypsies Tabbed Book, this Mix & Match Pad Holiday Baking from Canvas Corp, Petaloo DIY Flowers,  Spectrum Noir DR2 Pen, and the Xyron Creative Station.

Kathy’s second card features layers of paper, burlap, printed canvas and a sentiment from the Canvas Corp Farmhouse Christmas Collection.  Canvas Corp tries to add a fun set of sayings, quotes or icons that can be cut out to easily make cards, mini books or little treasures.  These inexpensive embellishments are the focal point to Kathy’s cards and say just what you might want to say at the holidays.
