Even though Halloween is not celebrated in most schools anymore, the holiday is more popular than ever, we thought it would be fun to show some clever, simple Halloween gift ideas you can make for a teacher, coach, dance instructor, neighbor or favors for a Halloween party.
One of our favorites are these Halloween Journals. Made with the new 7gypsies 5×7 Starter Journals, simply glue your favorite Halloween paper to create the cover and stitch a coordinating paper to make the binding.
These books were made with papers from the Canvas Corp Haunt It Mix and Match Pad. The journal pages are blank on the inside so they are perfect for taking notes, writing poems or adding photos. Pair with a fun pen and you have a great inexpensive handmade gift.
Fill fabric totes with candy goodies or make paper bags with fun little sayings and fill them with candy. The fabric bags we call Saggy Baggies are cuffed bags that look great when tied at the top to make a gift sack.
Die cut assorted little boxes with cardstock paper like these from the Haunt It Collection and fill with candy, little goodies or homemade cookies. The weight of the paper does make a difference when making boxes to make sure they stay together well.
Create these little paper journals by simply layering 5-6 flat black paper bags and making a binding with one of the Haunt It Cardstock papers and stitching them into place. Then fill the bags with sheets cut from the Kraft & Black Journal Lines to make a mini journal.
Erin transformed these fun and simple repurposed bottles into filled Halloween candy bottles with the cutest wrap. Her love of functional crafts with a purpose shines again with these fun bottles she created.
To see how she created these stop by her blog Scraps of Reflections.
So if you have a teacher, coach, instructor, neighbor, friend or co-worker who could use a little hello for Halloween here are some ideas that are quick and easy and very affordable.
Happy Creating!!!!
