Relax Your Mind with ‘Minds Catcher’ Canvas

Hello!
This is my third project as a design team member Canvas Corp Brands and the third canvas!

This time I made a project around a “Grow” theme. What does it mean for me? When I was a child I grew very quickly; now I am a woman and I have my own child and I don’t grow physically anymore, but every day I grow emotionally. Almost every day, I am met by various stressful situations and need to decide how to deal with them. When I was younger and didn’t have all the responsibilities, I often reacted very emotionally, but now I need to react more responsibly, because all my negative emotions will have bad impact on my child and husband. So every day I need to grow emotionally and try to be very patient and to help me with this, I have my own “Minds catcher” to catch negative thoughts and emotions.

Products used for the canvas:
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Jack Frost, Bittersweet, Alaskan Salmon, Sugar Maple, Bahama Blue, Mantis, Merlot Gold
Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze – Desert Sun, Blue Oasis 
Canvas Corp – Stretched Natural Canvas 8×10
Architextures™ Tall Base – Feathers
Texture paste, Clear Medium and a lot of The Robin’s Nest dew drops
Stencil, Brush, Palette knife

Cover the canvas with clear medium, dry well and take a palette knife and a stencil with texture paste.

Dry well and add feathers from Architextures™ Tall Base.

Paint canvas with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists – Bahama Blue, Jack Frost, Splash, Bittersweet, Mantis, Merlot Gold and London Fog.

Add drops with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Jack Frost and Merlot Gold.

Also add splashes of mists on feathers and allow the canvas to dry thoroughly.

Add some paper flowers at the bottom of the stenciled doily.

Add The Robin’s Nest dew drops and teardrops as great accents.

Your Dreams Catcher canvas is ready to be displayed in your bedroom or anywhere else in your home.
