How to… Revamp Desk Album Into A Calendar

Handmade gifts are great! What’s even better is if they are also functional.
Vicky Fortier, aka Crafting Vicky, altered a desk album into a desk calendar as a gift for her husband and she shares her tutorial with us today.

Last Christmas, I had some homemade gifts ready for my family. The previous year, my husband was really disappointed because he didn’t get a desk calendar from me. So now, I had to make this up, I altered a desk album into a desk calendar using some fabulous paint from Tattered Angels called Dove. This is a really fast and easy project but with some wonderful result! – says Vicky.

Materials used for the project:
Wooden desk album
Tattered Angels Decor & DIY Paint – Dove
Sandpaper, Baby wipes
Liquitex gloss medium and varnish
screwdriver for the hardware
paintbrush
