Spread Your Wings – Mixed Media Folder Card

I love Kraft cardstock as a base for my cards but using Kraft file folder makes it even more interesting as their shape and size are just perfect for a quick and easy to make Mixed Media card. This Mixed Media card was made in no time over the Kraft file folder base with just a few pieces from Architextures and a lot of Tattered Angels paints. You can easily make a similar folder card using other pieces from the packs and other paint and mist colors.

Materials used to make the folder card:
Canvas Corp – Kraft cardstock
Canvas Corp – Kraft file folder 4×6
Architextures Junque Pack – Attic
Architextures Tall Base – Feathers
Tattered Angels High Impact Paint – Turquoise
Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam – Caspian Sea, Macadamia
Tattered Angles Glimmer Mist – Patina
Die- Memory Box

Die cut the flowers frame from Kraft cardstock.

Paint it over with High Impact Turquoise paint and let it dry.

Add a background sticker piece (it’s from the Junque Pack) over the Kraft folder front as shown.

Glue the fairy image and the frame over the base.

Adhere the feather and the tab piece over the card as shown.

Paint over the feather and make splashes with Macadamia Glimmer Glam.

Paint over the edges with Caspian Sea Glimmer Glam.

Mist the finished card with Patina Glimmer Mist. Enjoy your easy and fancy card!
