From old furniture to small wooden items in a storage or even in the street, there is definitely something that deserves a second chance to be turned into a statement piece for our home. Give your unwanted items a new look and create vintage pieces for your home with the Tattered Angels Decor & DIY paints and High Impact paints. Both of them work perfectly on wooden surfaces and can be mixed to give wider color choices. Use them on your DIY projects to redecorate, re-finish, upcycle or on any other mixed media creative project.
Crew members, Viktoriya Porechnaya and Carly Phillips show us two projects on how they used the paints to upcycle a simple wooden box and a hundred years old mirror frame, making new, unique pieces for their homes.
Upcycled wooden box
“Many years ago post offices in our country packed parcels in wooden box. Now, these boxes are rarity. And when I found it, I always grab it. It is dirty and broken, but you can restorate and transform it into great elegant thing! You need only paints, brushes and stencil and pair of hours. I have some of these upcycled boxes in my home and I want to have more!” – as Viktoriya says.
