This week’s installation of Wings on Wednesday introduces Angelique Jarrier (aka Boule de Scrap) and her mixed media project which uses an embroidery hoop as a base.
In a true mixed media style, Angelique mixes and matches not only the various dry and wet media but also products from all three Canvas Corp Brands.
Hey ‘hello’ to this week’s delicate, shabby chic project!
‘Hello, here is my new project bringing together the three brands; I like to make majority of my projects this way. I wanted to change and work other things than paper. Burlap has been tempting me for a long time, and I wanted to try mixed media techniques on this background. I fixed my burlap sheet on an embroidery hoop and altered it to create a delicate ‘stage’ for a picture of my daughter, Lilou, my sweet little angel.’ – says Angelique.
