Summer Banner by Maryann

Today we are featuring a project made by Maryann and her blog Domestically Speaking.  We just love how it is so simple and adds to her decor!  She has a lot of fabulous ideas on her blog.  She is also one of the talented designers at The DIY Club.

I’m working on my Summer mantle this week.  I used some cute items from Canvas Corp to create this sweet summer sign.

{Supplies Needed}

Dollar Store frame (with glass removed)

Canvas Corp sheet of Canvas Fabricpage

Canvas Corp sheet of Chalkstock

Canvas Corp Mini Clothespin in white

Canvas Corp Hemp Cord in natural

I used a paper cutter to cut the Canvas Fabricpage to fit the frame.

I used the paper cutter to trim the Chalkstock into cute little triangles.

I put the canvas into the frame with the hemp cord stretched across.  The frame held the cord in place perfectly.

I used Canvas Corp’s cute mini clothespins to hang my chalkstock triangles.

Super cute summer sign to add to my summer mantle.
