Are loving all of the wonderful ‘texture’ and Tattered Angels inspiration by the design team so far?!!! I am loving it!
Today I would like to share with you a layout I created using texture paste and mask, and the most delicious Simply Sheer mist.
I have used The Crafters Workshop Circle Explosion template, designed by Julie Fei-Fan Balzer. I have used this to create a random background pattern of circles with the texture paste. I have then sprayed on a combination of Chalk Chalkboard Glimmermist, and gesso. When this was dry I have then applied a liberal coating of Aqua Simply Sheer mist. whilst this was still wet I added some extra splats of Calypso Chalkboard Glimmermist. The combination was subtle and just perfectly coordinated with my photo.
From this close up picture you can see that I have coloured the silver tinsel in the little bottle. I have used a combination of Fairway and Calypso Chalkboard Glimmermist for this.

Hi Sharlene
Calypso has been removed from the colour range at the last release at Summer CHA 2012, however it is still available here in Australia in retail shops.
Can I suggest these alternatives available in the US; Seven Seas Chalkboard, Night Before Christmas, and Sapphire Glimmermist.
